IELTS

What is
IELTS?

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is meant to assist you in pursuing opportunities for work, study, or migration in countries where English is the primary language, like Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, and the USA.

During the test, your English skills in listening, reading, writing, and speaking will be evaluated, and you'll receive a score on a scale of 1 to 9.

IELTS is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP IELTS, and Cambridge University Press & Assessment.

If you want to work, live, or study in an English-speaking country, you need to prove that you're proficient at using English.

Types of
IELTS Tests

IELTS offers two main types of tests:

IELTS Academic

This test is for people who want to study at a university or college in an English-speaking country. It assesses your ability to handle academic language and tasks.

IELTS General Training

This test is for those planning to work, train, study at a non-degree level, or migrate to an English-speaking country. It focuses on everyday language skills and social interactions.

Ways to Take

IELTS Ways to Take

Pen & Paper Based

In this way, you'll sit at a desk in an official IELTS test center. You'll get paper for the Listening, Reading, and Writing tests, and you can use a pen or pencil to write your answers. The Speaking test is done with a person who's trained to examine IELTS.

Computer Based

Here, you'll use a computer at the test center for the Listening, Reading, and Writing tests. Questions will show up on the screen, and you'll type your answers using a keyboard and mouse. The Speaking test is still done face-to-face with an IELTS Examiner.

If you want a good IELTS score, peace of mind, and great support, Campus overseas is the way to go. Although I only had around 15 days before my IELTS test, they were ready to accommodate me and give me good and proper training which helped me to score an overall 8 on the test. Our IELTS coach was very supportive and patient with us during our classes. She turned the classes into an interactive session whereby we got comfortable discussing our views and, in turn, improved our vocabulary. Also, she guided each of us personally by analyzing one's weaknesses and working together to improve them. Every staff was friendly and welcoming, including the top managing staff.

Muhammed Faris

Perambra

They are the best there is. I joined them for a one-month IELTS coaching program, and along with that, they provided valuable information and raised awareness about different courses and countries where we could apply. All the staff members were friendly and approachable. Both the tutors and office staff were there to help in any way they could. What's more, they charge no consultation fees. Not to mention, I achieved an IELTS band score of 8, all thanks to this wonderful family.
