For a bachelor's program, you typically need a recognized high school qualification with 65% mark. For master's programs, you generally need a relevant bachelor's degree or its equivalent. IELTS is not a mandatory requirement for most institutions. Eligibility criteria for studying in France can vary based on the university and the specific program. Fees

For a Bachelor's course, the annual tuition fees typically range from approximately €9,000 to €12,000, which is roughly equivalent to ₹9 lakhs to ₹11 lakhs. Meanwhile, for a Master's course, the yearly fees generally fall within the range of approximately €9,000 to €15,000, around ₹9 lakhs to ₹14 lakhs.

Living Expenses

Graduate and undergraduate students must prove their financial capacity by showing funding for a full year of study, which includes a minimum of 615 Euros per month for living expenses. Living costs can be relatively high in major French cities like Paris.

Part-time work rights

According to French regulations, international students can work up to 964 hours per year, which is 60% of the maximum allowable working hours. Additionally, France is unique in Europe for providing government-subsidized accommodation.

Stay Back After Course

Master's program graduates with RNCP certification in France receive a two-year Post Study Work Visa for gaining work experience, which is unavailable to Bachelor's degree holders, giving Master's students an edge in their career prospects.

IELTS can be waived in France. The student will have to attend a Skype interview with the institution during the admission process so that the communication skills and genuineness of the student may be determined. Also, the last education of the student should have been completed in English medium.

French language proficiency is not a mandatory requirement at the time of application or visa. Still, it will be helpful for the student to get around his/her activities and for a job.

The tuition fee must be deposited before the student files for the visa. Some institutions may require the complete year’s tuition fees to be paid in advance, while others may need only the first semester’s fees to be paid before applying for the visa.

A 3-year degree is accepted for entry to master programs in business, but for Engineering and I.T. programs, 4 years of Bachelor’s study is mandatory.
